A succession of varied landscapes, from the green Adour valley to the wooded hills, passing through the vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see, the ‘Pays Val d’Adour’ invites you to its discovery!
Discover the route of the crests with genuine fortified towns dating from the Middle Ages such as Beaumarchés, Plaisance, Marciac, Miélan …, Cistercian abbeys (Saint Mont, Tasque…) and small castles such as Tillac, Riscle…
This area developed its identity mostly around the gastronomy which combines quality wine appellations such as St Mont, Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic Bilh and traditional South West cuisine and its emblematic Foie Gras.
Festive land, you will be able to take part all year round in the numerous events such as ‘Jazz in Marciac’ which has been attracting for over 25 years the biggest names in Jazz, but also ‘St Mont: Fête of the vineyard’, a true celebration of the St Mont wine and of course the numerous ferias, essential elements of the local culture.
