During school holidays, your children are welcomed by approved families in the countryside, near a farm. The programme is designed to recreate a family home away from home for your children, who will be able to enjoy country life and outdoor activities with other children.
Children stay in an approved ‘Gîtes de France’ accommodation which is also inspected by the relevant authority.

Stopover gîtes (Gîtes d'étape) and holiday gîtes (Gîtes de séjour) are ideally suited to groups of friends and families who want to spend a weekend away or a holiday together. They also cater for groups looking for a venue to hold a conference, nature and discovery classes or sports courses such as a horse-riding break.
Stopover gîtes are a great way to stop off and rest up on a hiking, cycling or riding trip.
